please click here*.
REGISTRATION
Q. Is there a cost
for online registration?
A. No…there are no
additional fees for online registration. In fact, we prefer it due to
information accuracy.
Q. What do I need
for Registration/Packet Pick Up?
A. You must bring a
photo ID to packet pick up. Packet pick up will be Saturday August 12, at the
Blaine Street Fair 12:00 - 4:00 PM and Semiahmoo Spit
(just beyond Semiahmoo Resort) from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM or 6:00 AM to 7:30 AM Sunday morning. (If you are a USAT member, you must bring your

Friends/Family cannot pick up race packets for each other. At the
registration you must sign the event waiver in order to compete.
Q. Will I receive a
confirmation packet?
A. No. You confirmation
is on the site at Events Online. If you see your name listed you
registration was successful. If you registered by mail or are a

Button on the left to ensure your place. All confirmations will be sent via
e-mail. Until you receive your confirmation e-mail you can check the web

Q. Do you allow
race day registration?
A. No, these events are
likely to sell out by race day and given border considerations we must see
registration beforehand.
Q. Are there any
benefits to registering early?
A. Definitely, there is
a fee increase as the race dates approach. Also, with our online
registration, our events are selling out much more quickly, so the risk of
not getting in has increased somewhat.
Q. After registering
for your event, I find I cannot participate. What are my options? Do you
give refunds?
A.
Athletes
may receive a 50% cash refund for medical reasons if request and explanation
is received prior to July 31, 2006. No refunds are available after that
date.
Q. May I give or
sell my slot to someone else?
A. All entries are
non-transferable. The Tri Without Borders allows for a certain rate of attrition
at each event. If an applicant would like to make a change before the
deadline, this refers to switching their entry from one distance to another
within an event (if there are still slots available in each race), they may
request a transfer to the shorter distance at no cost. Thank you for
respecting our policy. Participants found racing under another persons name
will be disqualified and both entrants will reported to USA Triathlon for
disciplinary action which can include being suspended from any USAT event
for 1 year.
